Welcome to Beatrice Morrow Cannady!
At Beatrice Morrow Cannady, we believe in creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where all students are inspired and empowered every day. We value and celebrate joy, curiosity, perseverance, mindfulness, kindness and belonging and strive to foster the development of these core values in students. In partnership with families, we educate the whole child by affirming identities, celebrating differences, and ensuring equitable access for all to support the growth and development of each student. Students, each and every one, are at the heart of all that we do.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES
We are excited to do the school supply shopping for you. We ask for a $30 supply fee for all students in 2023-24. You may pay online or we will accept cash or check (Cannady Elementary) starting in August.

Lunch Money:
To put money into your child's lunch account, please visit LINQ Connect. You may also bring cash or check (Cannady Elementary) to the office. If you'd like to apply for free and reduced lunch, please apply on or after August 1, 2023 for the 2023-2024 school year.
Attendance:
If your student is going to be absent, please notify the attendance secretary, Davy Schlunz, schlunzda@nclack.k12.or.us or at 503-353-5780. Our safety calls are scheduled to go out at 8:30, so please email or call before then to avoid an attendance notification.
Bus Routes:
Bus stop information will be available on August 4, 2023 on eLink for bus riders for the 2023-2024 school year. Visit the Bus Stop information - eLink page for more information.
Bus stops are automatically assigned to qualified students when they are registered for school. A Transportation Request is only necessary if an alternate stop is being added or changed.
Early Pick-Up from School:
If you need to pick up your student early from school, please call us when you are on your way. We will call your child to the office and have them waiting. Come to the front door, and push the green button to call the office. We will walk your child out to you. Please have ID ready. Thank you!
